Keep your draft while choosing which words to retain.

Leave your words in the editor, read the error, and retry when the problem is resolved. If you need to leave the browser, copy the draft somewhere safe first; a visible draft is not proof that it reached your account.
If another version exists
Open or copy The newest words when prompted. Compare them with Your words, combine what you want to keep, and use Save my words only when you intend to replace the saved version with your edit.
If you decide not to save
Choose Keep editing to continue, or Discard changes to close without saving your edits. Neither choice should be confused with deleting the saved note itself.
