Terms of Service
The rules for KayBi accounts, content, AI output, trials, subscriptions, and use of the service.
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of KayBi, operated by Khaled Elsaadany, an individual based in Egypt, operating KayBi. The current terms version is launch-2026-08-16. By using KayBi or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement. Do not use KayBi if you are barred from using it under applicable law or if KayBi has suspended your access. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Your content and AI output
You keep ownership of the files, chats, corrections, and other content you provide. You give KayBi the limited rights needed to host, store, process, retrieve, cite, export, delete, secure, and otherwise operate the service for you.
Upload only content you have the right to use. You are responsible for your content and instructions, including content that is personal, confidential, copyrighted, or sensitive. KayBi may restrict or remove content or accounts when reasonably needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, provider rules, or payment integrity.
KayBi uses AI systems to retrieve memory and generate cited answers. Output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your use. Review answers and source citations before relying on them. KayBi is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, academic, or safety advice, and must not be used for high-impact decisions without independent expert review.
Acceptable use
- Do not violate law or another person's rights.
- Do not access, probe, or attempt to access another user's data.
- Do not bypass quotas, security controls, or plan limits.
- Do not upload malware, stolen credentials, child sexual abuse material, or non-consensual intimate content.
- Do not use KayBi to facilitate harmful, deceptive, exploitative, or illegal activity.
- Do not reverse engineer, extract, or replicate provider models or KayBi infrastructure except where applicable law permits.
Trial, subscriptions, and refunds
KayBi offers an app-managed no-card 7-day trial. The trial does not automatically charge you. When it expires, the account becomes read-only: you can view memory, open citations, export or delete data, adjust settings, and choose to upgrade, but uploads, new chats, processing, and other paid-access features are unavailable until the required entitlement is active.
A paid plan is a separate purchase through Lemon Squeezy checkout. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and its checkout terms, buyer terms, and notices apply to the transaction. The checkout displays the price, billing interval, taxes, and any plan-specific terms before purchase.
Once purchased, subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can manage cancellation, payment method updates, invoices, and billing details through the Lemon Squeezy billing portal when it is available for your account. Cancellation stops a future renewal and normally leaves paid access active through the current billing period.
Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy and any mandatory rights that apply to you. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, taxes, invoices, refunds, chargebacks, and fraud review as merchant of record.
Service controls, suspension, and termination
KayBi may enforce storage, upload, AI message, processing-credit, and budget limits. KayBi may suspend, restrict, downgrade, or terminate access when reasonably needed to protect users, providers, infrastructure, payment integrity, or the service. You may stop using KayBi at any time; your data controls remain available as required by law and the service.
KayBi intellectual property
KayBi's service, software, design, branding, and related materials are owned by KayBi or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal right to use the service; they do not grant you ownership of KayBi or its underlying technology.
Updates and survival
KayBi may update these Terms when the service, pricing, providers, or legal requirements change. KayBi will update the version and last-updated date and provide additional notice where required. Provisions that by their nature continue after termination, including intellectual property, accrued payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, survive termination.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KayBi is provided "as is" and "as available." KayBi does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or loss-free operation, or that AI output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KayBi disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KayBi and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. For any claim arising from KayBi, the total liability of KayBi and its operator will not exceed the fees you paid for KayBi through Lemon Squeezy in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or consumer protections that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, except where mandatory consumer protection rules apply. Courts in Egypt have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a dispute in another forum.
