Adding files to KayBi
Bring documents, pictures, recordings, and videos into your collection.
1 min readChoose what you want to keep
Use Add files on Home or in a Space. You can also add context from the chat composer, choosing a file from your collection or uploading one from your device.
You can add PDFs, pictures, audio, video, plain text, and Markdown. Presentation files such as PowerPoint or Keynote need to be exported to a supported format first. The upload message tells you if a particular format or size cannot be accepted.
Uploading and understanding are separate steps
First the file reaches storage. Then KayBi processes its contents so they can be found and used in answers. A finished upload doesn't always mean the file is ready to search.
Watch the state on the card. Large recordings and videos can take longer than a short note or picture. You can return to the collection while processing continues.
Check the result
KayBi can suggest a useful title, tags, and a place for your file. Review those suggestions if they matter to you. A file waiting in Inbox needs a placement decision; it isn't necessarily a failed upload.
