Your account, models, and usage
Check the allowance and options that apply to your account today.

Open Settings → Plan and usage for your plan and usage. Use the values and reset times shown there instead of an old screenshot or a fixed number in a guide.
Storage and AI usage are different allowances. Processing files and asking questions can use your AI allowance; storing files uses storage.
Model and effort are separate choices
The composer shows the models your account can use, including Quick or Thorough where offered. Thinking effort changes how much work the selected model can spend on an answer.
More effort can mean more waiting and more usage. Start with what suits the question, and check the control's explanation before changing it.
When you reach a limit
Read the message for the affected allowance and when you can try again. If storage is full, review what you need to keep. If a chat usage window is full, wait for its reset or review the available account options. A full chat window does not, by itself, stop you searching your collection.
Access and trial availability can change. Use the sign-up page for the current offer, and the contact page for account access or billing questions.
