Finding something you saved

Use the part you remember, then narrow the results when you need to.

1 min read

Start with a clue

Type into Home's search. A subject, a few words, a color, or the gist can be more useful than trying to reconstruct a filename. Try “white shoes” or “the explanation about resistance.”

KayBi combines direct matches with search by meaning. Give the results a moment to settle as related matches arrive.

Narrow the view

  1. Choose a content type if you remember whether it was a picture, note, document, recording, video, or chat.
  2. Choose a Space in Lately if you remember where it belongs.
  3. Change or clear a filter to widen the search again. Your search scope and the chat composer's context are separate choices.

Search for a thing. Ask to work with it

Use search to get back to a saved item. Use Ask KayBi when you want an explanation, comparison, summary, or connection between things.

A close match is a starting point. Open the source and check that it is the thing you meant.
